Eyes on the Road™
The Beginning

Eyes on the Road was organized as a not-for-profit partnership program to generate funding for the non-profit 501(c)3  organization known as Schepens Eye Research Institute, a Harvard Medical School Affiliate. It all started when a young truck driver was injured in an accident that left him sightless. After hours of investigation and numerous phone calls, this determined young man decided to support the one research institute that gave him the most  for the future restoration of his sight. The following is an audio podcast that describes the character of this special young man, Mark D. Harter.
