Founder and Project Coordinator

A llifelong trucking enthusiast, is not only a professional truck driver and operations specialist, but also an industry historian, the moderator of the Antique Trucks Forum at the Truck.Net Roundtable, and a featured player in industry publications for his study of Truck Aerodynamics.

Mark currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana and works in an operations role for BeeMac Trucking.

Early in his career, Harter drove for Horseless Carriage Carriers, Inc. and PGT Trucking, two transportation pioneers. Following his accident and loss of vision, he redirected his efforts industry-wide by helping launch "Eyes on the Road," to teach fellow drivers and industry professionals about the need for proper eye care and to promote the efforts of The Schepens, the largest eye and vision research institute in North America.

When not busy with trucks, Harter enjoys spending time at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the month of May, and following the IndyCar Series.

A lifelong fan of Roger Penske and his racing organization, Harter lives by the Penske rule:  "Effort Equals Results," a bit of wisdom, he believes, everyone - truckers included-- should live by.
